Albuquerque Balloon Fest with stops in the Old West

This is my third epic vacation with Tammi Grant, and Tammi did not disappoint.  She goes above and beyond to make the epic vacations a true experience.  The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta trip was overwhelmingly positive.  Landing in Denver, with lots of adventures along the way to Albuquerque ballon fiesta.  (Royal Georgetown railway ride, hot springs in Glenwood, Mesa Verde National Park in Durango, to botanical gardens and historical churches in Santa Fe and on to the Meow Wolf, and Old Town in Albuquerque) What a great trip meeting so many amazing and adventurous women who enjoy having fun and making new friends. This was truly a great vacation. Andrew our tour guide from Globus was so knowledgeable about our surroundings and David our driver make sure we arrived safely and on time for all of our destinations.  This was an great trip with some amazing women.  Can’t wait for the next adventure.  Thank you Tammi.

We had an unforgettable trip packed with so many new and wonderful experiences and new friendships forged.  It was the perfect time of year to go.  The temperature was delightful, and the changing color of the Aspens was phenomenal!  The Balloon Fiesta was truly the highlight of the trip with the VIP Box on Sunday to view the mass ascension being the cherry on top!  Our Globus tour guide and driver were knowledgeable, well-organized, professional and a true delight to travel with.  I would highly recommend this trip and traveling with the Wanderbugs on future trips!

This was a truly epic trip. Tammi planned so many wonderful things for us to see and do. The other women on the trip were so friendly. There was a nice amount of down time too, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend going on a trip with Tammi!! 

Fabulous trip full of new experiences and adventures!  The itinerary was expertly designed to give us the best combo of seeing as much as we could see and downtime to connect with our fellow travelers or explore on our own. How do I begin to express my gratitude and love to Tammi/Globus team for such an amazing trip/experience?  Words are grossly inadequate. So many details were thought of, so many scenarios were accommodated.  So many comfort levels were challenged, in a good way!  It was a wonderful group to travel with! The road trip from Denver to Albuquerque was flawless! 10 days of well planned and executed activities and events! Excellent accommodations and our tour guide was very interesting and helpful. It was wonderful not having to plan the itinerary and logistics. Will definitely travel with Tammi of Wanderbugs again! Only good things to say about this epic adventure! 

This was a fabulous trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The itinerary had a nice mix of unique experiences and also allowed time for independent exploration. The included meals were good and we had many opportunities to sample authentic dishes. Tammi, Andrew, and David were always friendly and helpful. I would definitely travel with this group again!

We fondly called this the "Oh Wow!" adventure because that was everyone's immediate reaction every time we experienced a new thing or saw a new sight. Lots of fun experiences, with no extreme fitness necessary. Our group leader curated a really cool trip and brought a great group of wonderful women together. Beautiful scenery with a very knowledgeable tour director who gave us background on tons of interesting things and an awesome bus driver who really knew how to handle a bus and all sorts of traffic. 

I had a great time. Great itinerary, great food and great weather. 

Tammi designed the perfect trip and Andrew was a perfect tour guide. Such a fantastic group of women too and I loved getting to know everyone and creating memories together. Each day featured a fun outing or experience, cumulating at the Balloon Fiesta for a truly once in a lifetime experience.  Other activities included hot springs with minerals to represent hot springs around the world, a ride on an old fashioned steam train, trip to historic Mesa Verde, authentic Mexican restaurants. I also appreciate that Tammi arranged get togethers and zoom calls so folks could meet before the trip. 

The Albuquerque Epic Adventure exceeded every expectation.  Each experience was well planned from the moment we arrived in Denver to the moment we left Albuquerque.  From the wonderful people, the amazing sights, the delicious food nothing could have been better.  Our host Tammi was kind, helpful, funny and looked out for each of us.  Andrew our tour guide was beyond phenomenal.  His organization, knowledge were first rate. Our driver, David, well…wow.  His professionalism and skill were outstanding.  The memories made, friendships forged, knowledge gained were incomparable.  Cannot imagine a way to improve this fabulous trip.

It just wasn’t up to the standard we’ve come to expect, and I’ve already shared that feedback with Globus since they handle that particular hotel selection. I had a great time. Good food, people and experiences. Except the hotel in Albuquerque wasn’t up to par. All the other were great.

What a terrific weekend. Such a delightful way to cross an adventure off my bucket list.  Fallingwater exceeded my expectations. Accommodations, food and the lively company made it a trip to remember.  Thanks for a trip to remember.

The trip to wisconsin dells was a lot of fun! Boat rides, hiking, kayaking and winery with music, good restaurants and karaoke! The accommodations were perfect for our large group - the ladies were terrific! We enjoyed a patio dinner and playing silly games. Thanks to Tammi, our organizer for handling everything ! Well organized and she did a great job pivoting to plan b when needed! Thank you so much!!! Looking forward to the next trip!

An Adventure in Greek Mythology

Such a wonderful trip with a fantastic guide and great group of ladies!  The events were well planned and very informative and interesting!  Our host Tammi did her research and made the whole trip fun and exciting!  Will travel with Wanderbug again and again!

It was literally so fun. I really enjoyed meeting new people. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and the trip was really well organized. 10/10 will do again 

We had a great time with a great group of ladies!  Anna, our guide was wonderful - she had a wealth of knowledge, was caring, and friendly. The sites we saw were fantastic, the food was great, and the hotels were great, except for a few issues I had at the Stanley. Power went out in my room just as I stepped out of the shower the first night we were there. I was too tired to address it until morning. They did fix it in a timely manner. The second time we stayed there the noise level was so bad I only got 2 hours sleep. The Galaxy Hotel Iraklio was my favorite: it was the nicest, quiet, most comfortable room , and the amenities were the best.

Tammi and Morgana did a fabulous job planning, and gave us so many helpful tips to prepare for the trip.

This trip was absolutely fantastic! Tammi and Morgana really took care of the group. Anna, our guide, was fantastic and endlessly knowledgeable. I look forward to attending more wanderbug trips in the future! 

Such an amazing experience! Learning all about the myths and history of Greece was extraordinary. Eating traditional cuisine and immersing into the culture was spectacular! Can’t wait to travel again!

So much fun! Having drivers/tour guides was great - we didn’t have to drive, we learned more than we would have on our own, and we were personally escorted everywhere.  While the cloudy skies really diminished the eclipse experience, since the weekend itself had much more built into it, the experience as a whole was a great success!

Niagara Falls - Total Eclipse of the Sun

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.  It was well organized in every regard.  I cannot even express in words how much fun I had.  The best part aside from all the fun were the wonderful people on the trip.  Truly lovely human beings. Memories I will hold in my heart forever.  Cannot wait for my next Wanderbug adventure! 

We had a great time seeing and experiencing Niagara Falls, visiting wineries and viewing the Solar Eclipse.

Had the most amazing time on the Jane Austen trip. It was even better than I imagined it could be. I met the most amazing women who went on the trip with me and was able to visit places like Stourhead Gardens and Chawton House that I never would have thought of on my own. Also, staying in Oakley Hall was the most incredible time and I'm so lucky to have experienced it. I will definitely be taking more Wanderbug trips!

Experience Jane Austen’s England

This trip was just how I imagined it--a  busload of like-minded  and interesting Austen fans, a variety of activities, good food, swanky accommodations, knowledgeable and personable guides, and perfect weather (almost). Highlights were the day trips to Jane's haunts and English country dancing in Bath (just like Jane would have done!) It amazed me that this was a first-time venture for Tammi and Laura, because their vision worked perfectly. Our Globus guide, Kaeleigh, was a fount of knowledge about Jane, Great Britain, and women's history. Highly recommend! 

What an amazing trip for Austen fans!  Starting out with the beautiful Oakley Hall was a perfect way to get to know our fellow travelers.  It was so special to visit Austen's house and Chawton House.  The visit to Winchester was very enjoyable.  Stourhead Estate was a pleasant surprise.  Our time in Bath added another perspective of what Austen experienced and that she wasn't just tucked away in a small town for her entire life.  This trip made me realize that Austen was more sophisticated than I previously thought.  Laura did an excellent job of planning our itinerary and the icing on the cake was having Kaeleigh as our tour guide who came well prepared with interesting information about not just Austen but also of her time and England's history.  Thank you for this wonderful trip!

Jane Austen trip was delightful and more than any of us could imagine. Beautiful hotels at all locations with many meals included. Several delicious teas and beautiful gardens and places that JA visited or lived at. Thoroughly enjoyed dress up in Regency clothing. Bus driver and tour guide were well versed in JA and complimented the trip beautifully. Travel companion s were fun and friendly enjoying archery and dancing . Many compliments to Tammi and  Rachel for this once in a lifetime experience. 

I can't speak highly enough of this "life time" experience!!  Tammi and the team were outstanding!!  Making sure everyone was included in all the events, accommodated as best as possible when specific issues arose, the group of ladies that attended were amazing!!  We felt more like family by the end of the week!

I can't wait for our next adventure!!

This trip was a dream come true. It was my very first trip overseas, and I could not be happier. The tour was well organized with just enough downtime to explore other things, or just share a glass of wine with fellow travelers. The tours were exceptional as was the food, but the shared camaraderie  made the trip even more special. Our Tour Guide, Kaeleigh, was not only very knowledgeable, but quite entertaining!  Out of 5 Stars I would give Wanderbug a 10!  Can’t wait to see what other fun tours they offer :)!

I truly don’t know where to begin! This has been a trip of a lifetime. Tammi  and Laura planned the perfect trip filled with adventure, new experiences and great friendships! Every excursion was better than the last: Stonehenge, Jane Austin’s homes, museum and burial place, Cathedrals, gardens, historic London, archery lessons, picnics… I could go on and on! The hotels were exquisite and so were the meals. The best part was the camaraderie; we all got along so well and made friendships to last a lifetime. This was truly a five star trip! Amazing!
